It's a ripple effect...
The Ripple Effect is an anti-bullying campaign that I co-produced and co-anchored in April 2011 at Granite Bay High School. The campaign consisted of five, ten minute long bulletins, with two to three packages each.

The Ripple Effect caused a huge, positive impact on not only GBHS, but the community as well. Local media covered The Ripple Effect and over 1,500 students pledged to promote unity, and refrain from malicious acts and words.

Each of the five days had a theme: The Day of No Hate, The Day of Awareness, The Day of Respect, The Day of Celebration and The Day of Resolutions. The programming of each day revolved around the theme. In addition, I worked with GBHS Student Government to have activities that students would do in class involving each day, posters plastered all over school, and t-shirts that students wore proudly all week, and still do.

This year, The Ripple Effect was put on again, and will continue to be a tradition at GBHS. I am so fortunate to have been one of the brainstormers of the project, and helped to form my own positive ripple on the community.
