Here are a few of the projects that I completed this term.
Kickstarter Video.

For this assignment, my group and I made a Kickstarter video for Sweet Life Patisserie in Eugene, Oregon to help them raise money for a food truck. I worked in a group with Julian Massenburg and Katherine Cook, who did the writing and designing of the page while I worked on the video.
Magazine Layout.

For this assignment, we were given an article by __ from ___ Magazine and photos by Professor Sung Park to turn into a five page magazine layout including a cover and feature story. Through this project, I found a new love for InDesign and layout and design in general. I would love to do more of this in the future.
Turn the Camera on Yourself.

For our final assignment in Gateway we were asked to put together a multimedia story about ourselves. I chose to make a video about the importance of sports in my life through my training for the Eugene Half Marathon, working for sports broadcasting companies, and striving to be a sports broadcaster one day.
Data Visualization.

For this assignment, I put together a data visualization comparing my average likes per photo to the average likes per photo of the average Instagram user. Then, I broke down the ratio of photos with filters to photos with no filters on my profile versus the average Instagram user's profile. Lastly, I displayed my top five most used filters to the top five most used filters on all of Instagram. The goal of this project was to figure out what makes the average user's photos liked as much as they are and how I can change my filter use to maximize my average likes per photo.
